Analysis and Roundtables

Registration is now open, reserve your spot today!

Inventory Analysis

To increase each student’s opportunity to achieve their educational goals at the secondary and postsecondary level, the Florida Student Success Center (Center) is conducting an inventory and an analysis on career pathways focused on local use of articulation agreements in relation to student progression and achievement. Each district and Florida College System (FCS) institution is requested to submit data on (a) all currently active local career articulation agreements and (b) any statewide career-related articulation agreements currently used by your institution.

Once the inventory has been compiled, the Center will examine program alignment with local, regional and statewide agreements. A data analysis will be conducted to review the extent to which agreements are related to student matriculation and outcomes, particularly for secondary students enrolled in career and technical education. The following will be reviewed:

  •  Current participation in three types of statewide agreements:

         o    Statewide career pathways
o    Applied Technology Diploma career pathways
         o    Gold Standard Articulation Agreements

  •  Currently active local career articulation agreements among districts and colleges. These may include  district or technical college to FCS institution, district to district or FCS to FCS.

Regional Roundtables

Once institutions have submitted their completed templates, three regional roundtables will be hosted to discuss program enrollment and completion trends and the extent to which students take advantage of career pathways. Participants will engage in opportunities to share what is working with their agreements and learn more about other opportunities to enhance agreements. Districts and institutions may each send up to three participants to attend their assigned regional roundtable. If you are interested in having staff attend or learning more, please register using the link above, and additional details on regional roundtable dates and locations will be made available to you soon.
